“I have had the honor of calling Gretchen my friend since we first met as classmates in Leadership Buffalo. Since that time I have had the opportunity to serve with her during her tenure as chair of the board of directors of Leadership Buffalo.

It soon became apparent from our class interaction, and reinforced during the time we served on the board together, that Gretchen was, and remains, in possession of significant skill sets that allowed us to develop a strategic plan to further enhance our value proposition. Moreover, we were able, under her steward-ship, to move from vision to implementation.

Her innate intelligence, her tenacity, her inter-personal, cognitive and critical thinking skills, complemented by emotional intelligence and ability to forge consensus, translate to the anticipated positive results.

Gretchen remains a valuable asset in our Western New York community, and we are fortunate to be the beneficiaries of her great deeds.”
