Testimonials

“I took some time to look at your web site. It’s fabulous and a great concept. Years ago my husband and I talked about the need for something like this. Together, we invested a small fortune in our children between private and catholic schools, music and sports. So identifying our children’s skills, talents and what they have a passion for, was very important to us. We really worked at it.”

“My son Andrew, 19, participated in this interactive session…it was the journey of self discovery during this session that made the difference in how he viewed himself and what direction he felt passionate about pursuing. It truly was a positive, worthwhile and engaging experience!”

A college education. It’s the key to opening doors; gaining the qualifications to achieve a better quality of life. While it’s true that college is a stepping stone to achieve lifelong dreams, it can also be a nightmare – both financially and emotionally, if there is inadequate planning.  It can also be a nightmare for students who quietly decide that a higher education is not their calling and their passion lies in pursuing a specific trade or vocation - but end up going to college anyway.  Consider the following example:

“I forced my daughter to go to college and she didn’t want to – she wanted to go to cosmetology school but I emotionally couldn’t accept that she wouldn’t get a college degree. She ended up dropping out after two frustrating years, went to cosmetology school and now is doing great cutting hair in a great salon in Boston. Had she gone through this program, it would have helped confirm her path and it would have helped me understand her better, being supportive rather than dissuading her.”

The reality is the cost of a college education is going up and will continue to do so.

Imagine your child going to college in pursuit of a degree that doesn’t really fit his or her vision or ability - leaving school with $80,000 of debt. Imagine your child flip-flopping majors and taking more than four years to graduate – racking up even more debt.

Now imagine your child going to school with a firm understanding on his or her abilities, a comfortable vision on his or her career opportunities, and the likelihood that his or her degree will yield a quality of life and profession that is worth the investment.
